Investing in Catholic Charities
Jesus is present to us in the least of our brothers and sisters. He is with us in the hungry, the poor, the Alzheimer’s patient, the unborn and the homeless person with AIDS, all of whom have a claim on our love.” - Cardinal Seán O'Malley
Since 1903, Catholic Charities has stood as a beacon of hope and opportunity for thousands of individuals and families throughout the Archdiocese. As a leading provider of social services in Massachusetts, Catholic Charities provides a range of inclusive services for those who live at the social and economic margins of our communities.
Catholic Charities has always maintained the same strong commitment to its most vulnerable neighbors that has guided it for over a century. However, in order for Catholic Charities to continue to provide the same meaningful and beneficial levels of services, they need our generous support.
The Cardinal has made social justice and serving the poor an extremely important part of his Inspiring Hope campaign. Through a variety of investments, the Cardinal has outlined several ways we can support Catholic Charities.

Resources for the Future Fund: $20.0M
Endowment
A fully funded endowment can guarantee our long-term financial health and success. With a current endowment of $13.4M, Catholic Charities is undercapitalized based on the size and scope of its programs and services. This endowment will provide a regular stream of income to enable Catholic Charities to continue to help strengthen families for generations to come.
